Born on March 23, 1936, in Osaka, Japan, he went on to graduate from Ritsumeikan University before launching his entertainment career. Yoshida is most highly recognized for his close, long-lasting collaboration with legendary cult director Teruo Ishii. During the late 1960s, he became a signature leading man in Ishii's provocative and taboo-busting genre films.
